ApplianceIQ publishes appliance price, specification, fit, delivery, installation, and buying guidance for Canadian shoppers. Editorial content should help a reader make a decision while making the source and limits of each claim understandable.

Guides carry the visible organization byline “ApplianceIQ Editorial Team,” linked to the editorial-team section on our About page. Personal authorship is deferred; ApplianceIQ does not infer individual qualifications, employment history, endorsements, or product-testing experience.

Our editorial distinction is based on where a fact comes from:

• Price history is based on public Canadian retailer price observations collected and matched by ApplianceIQ to an exact model number.
• Specifications, dimensions, features, and installation requirements come from identified manufacturer or retailer materials unless the page says otherwise.
• Retailer availability, fees, promotions, and offer details can change; readers should confirm the final transaction with the retailer.
• A conclusion should be narrowed or omitted when the underlying evidence is missing, conflicting, or cannot be tied to the exact model.

ApplianceIQ collects and evaluates public market data. We do not buy appliances for physical evaluation, operate a test lab, measure noise or energy use ourselves, or make long-term reliability claims from hands-on ownership.

We may test our own software, matching logic, calculations, and display rules. That is a test of the service, not a physical test of an appliance. Manufacturer performance claims remain attributed manufacturer claims unless independent evidence is clearly identified.

Automation and AI may assist with collecting structured observations, matching records, flagging conflicts, summarizing source material, or preparing draft text. Automated output is not treated as a source and does not by itself authorize publication.

Human review is required before publishing or materially updating advice about product identity, category, fit, installation, safety, source-supported specifications, or a recommendation. Unresolved drafting or sourcing notes make a guide ineligible for public display, search indexing, structured data, and ads.
